CARLMANN SCHMIDT (INDIA) PVT LTD. was found in the year 1985 under the leadership of Shri S.R.Rajagopal. The promoter had immense experience in the field of Steel Projects as he was with a leading German group DEMAG for 25 years. During this period he had the opportunity of handling huge projects which included the Cold Rolling Mill of Rourkela Steel Plant and BHEL Tube Plant to name a few. With a qualification of M.Com with LLB degree Shri Rajagopal raised to great heights after making a small start in his career. The above company initiated by him has grown immensely in the area of steel raw materials such as Graphite Electrodes, Aluminium deox products such as Cubes, Notch Bars, Shots etc. and in Ferro Alloys in a big way. The aim has been to serve the customers to the satisfaction with regard to quality, delivery and unmatchable service.

Shri S.R.Rajagopal – Chairman and Managing Director

CARLMANN SCHMIDT (INDIA) PVT LTD. was found in the year 1985 under the leadership of Shri S.R.Rajagopal. The promoter had immense experience in the field of Steel Projects as he was with a leading German group DEMAG for 25 years. The aim has been to serve the customers to the satisfaction with regard to quality, delivery and unmatchable service. Under the able guidance of our chairman, the following directors in the company also had the opportunity to grow as well as become a part of the operations. 

Shri T.P.Gopal – Director

Shri T.P. Gopal has also been with the company since its inception and has extensive experience in the field of marketing steel raw materials and other products. He had assumed as the direct understudy of the Chairman which had helped in developing the company as well as handling with experience the different nature of problems. By virtue of the experience and the training gathered in the shadow of our chairman he has been able to handle the affairs of the company, producing reasonable and consistent results.

Shri R. Chandrasekhar – Director

Shri R.Chandrasekhar has also been a part of the company right from the start in 1985. Being the son of our Chairman Shri Rajagopal he had the natural flair and dynamism in the art of running the company and growing alongwith it. He had a vast experience in handling a wide range of products which was mainly responsible for the continuous growth of the company in the crucial period. His contribution and support has been one of the reason for the company to grow as well as stand in a good footing.

G. Parameswaran – Director

G.Parameswaran is the second generation Director with a management qualification. He had joined the company at a crucial time and has been part of the progress of the company. His dedicated approach and result oriented work earned him the position of Director in the company and is looking after crucial areas of activity in the organisation.

Kartik Chandrasekhar – Director

Kartik Chandrasekhar also joined the company at a very crucial time and has been a great support in the growth of the company. His knowledge and vision has made things to happen in the company which has helped in the growth in a steady manner. He has done his Engineering in Mechanical stream which is has helped the company to have his engineering knowledge and also expand in a planned manner.

With the leadership of our Chairman Shri Rajagopal and the support of promoter directors and the second generation directors, the company is in safe hands and looking for a positive and sustained growth in the days to come.
